*aaaw* You're considered a FRIEND, Amy! I'm not taking anyone off, I just wanted to make people who read my LJ without having me friended know that some of my entries are locked. :-)
Hi!! I just stumbled across your LJ, & noticed you're in a chair. I'm disabled too (Cerebral Palsy) & thought I'd enjoy reading what you'd have to say. May I please me added to your list??
. I've missed you lately; I've seen so many of your comments in other places that I thought I had you friended.
But then I made a post about a friend's Baha'i tee-shirt, and thought I'd see a response from you. No. Hmm... check my friends list. Good grief, you're not there!
Well, mystery solved. So now I've friended you, and can see your comments. You don't need to friend me back, since I post so seldom, but you might like to read that post.
And as long as I'm here - my Baha'i friend is post polio, and needs her wheelchair more and more in the past two years. When I told her that I've read a gal on LJ who is Baha'i and disabled, she was very excited. She'd like to exchange emails with you, if you don't mind. (Or maybe I can convince her to set up a LJ that's locked for just you and her.) Anyway, if you're agreeable, let me know. .
About your friend - feel free to give her my address: ceci @ zytor . com An LJ is a good idea too - I HAVE to tell her about ljbahai...and Bahá'í Women Converse (a mailinglist). *g*
. Okay, I'll call her and tell her to set up a new email address. (She thinks it's lapsed because of non-use.) If you get an email from Cindyramarama or something similar, it'll be her.
And I'll see about setting up a LJ the next time I see her - probably Wednesday or Thursday. .
