What song is that? I would try to figure it out if I had a guitar nearby and handy, but I don't.

And...

Am -> silence -> Am -> C6 -> Am -> Am13/E, C6

Does that mean...
a measure of eighth notes, following that pattern, then a measure of C6(and is that more eighth notes, or is that a 3-beat note?) Clarification, pl0x.

It means like the note at the bottom said.
Downstrum the Am, lag a a bit, then quick through the last notes to the next measure. It isn't just a straight up measure of 8th notes. I guess?
Everything else just lasts the entire measure, such as the C6 at the end of the line you're asking about.
It popped in my head at 4 in the morning a few nights back.
Wish I knew how to explain it better.
