It seems that I am a dunderhead and am not completely familiar with how this all works. I have been an avid reader and admirer of all of you. I read well but do not write. I am also a bit shy. I am sorry to have caused problems. Please give advice on what I should do. Thank you.

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever let shyness prevent you from leaving a review. Most of us (including me) are absolute review junkies and every single one (apart from the occasional flames) brightens our day considerably.

Also, if you see a post on here that you agree/disagree/have advice about/laugh at loudly then comment! It's all a bunch of gossiping women. One makes new friends through commenting, you see.

I'll second that. Reviews are the things that keep me writing when my inspiration and motivation are flagging and weak. Even if it's just one word, never be shy about chiming in about a fic.

Oh, we were just a little weirded out. Nothing serious.

I think it helps to leave a comment or two on people's journals, though, and ask to "friend". Almost everyone will say yes enthusiastically. I'll add you to my list now.

Being shy is OK! I was shy ... once. ;-) Then I got pulled into the whole LJ thing, and then I got into commenting and reviewing, and then I got into writing... I have no idea what it'll all end with! *grins*
