I love my Mom!

I am trying to save some pictures to CD so that I can print them. CB has them all saved on the harddrive of his work laptop. I have the cd in the D drive but it keeps saying to put disk in..do you think the laptop is not working?
as Emily Litella would say "Never Mind" CB just called and said that the laptop can only read from that drive.

My mom's 60th birthday is coming up, I have no idea what to do. I can't really do a big bash because...well, I just can't. I do have a sister but we are estranged which upsets my Mom greatly so I know this is going to be on her mind. Some one suggested I do a Spa day with her, I can also ask her friend to join us. I was just about to get the kohler pedestal sink I bought for my new little lavette installed and it is way to big for the space...which sucks because I bought it over a year ago and may not be able to return it..or the faucet i bought to go with it. I had some left over yarn and decided to make mittens for my daughter, Mollie. I never made them before and found a simple free pattern for two needle mittens. I started my first project knitting in the round with the Denise needle set, so far so good. I'm still a little confused on how to do a gauge on circs but I'm making a poncho so I am not too worried about it. Its somewhat difficult to knit on really small circulars.
