I saw She's the Man and they had a guy named Paul Antonio who was never fulled mentioned as gay but its assumed that he is.

Yeah, I heard that they changed the real Antonio to "Monique" and made Antonio just this random hairdresser guy!

It's like, it's 2006, can we not have a storyline that's as gay as the original was in 15-whatever? :P

Is it any good? It looked fully ridiculous in the commercials, but you never know.

It's probably even sadder that I've played viola for eight years and don't know the scales beyond A maj/3 sharps and E maj/3 flats.

Heh, yeah, I do know some of them (C, D, B flat, F, and I'm sure some other ones too), but thank you for reassuring me that it's normal for young musicians to be too lazy to neglect to learn their scales. :P

They don't make us, in orchestra. The band kids, however, have to know them and do them all in under 2 minutes or something. O__O I'm sure I'd learn them if my grade depended on it.

I think that Major scales are made up, because I don't understand what they are. This is how my mind works.

If I can find it, do you want to look at my Undaunted Courage paper/notes?

Sure, I'd like that very much, because I'm totally confused about the format due to the teachers' incompetence at putting together an assignment sheet. Jeez.

Major scales are things you play... on an instrument... that sound normal? The sharps and flats are to make it sound like a normal scale, even though it starts on a different note. Do re mi et cetera, as opposed to minor scales, which sound weird or sad. There's probably a more technical way of explaining it that would confuse you even more. :P

How to remember which order the accidentals go in:

Sharps:
Father Christmas Gave Dad An Electric Blanket

Flats:
Blanket Exploded And Dad Got Cold Feet

You can also say "Charred feet", if bloodymindedness helps :D.

(Meanwhile, the lead characters of my book continue to refer to eachother as 'my dear' and 'joy', despite the fact that they are utterly, unquestionably platonic, yes :P).
