she finished the outlining, I'll have to go back for shading and coloring, it's beautiful and I'm thrilled
it was very painful, much more than I thought it would be, like getting hundreds of little injections, i kept thinking I would get used to it but i didn't and was so glad when we stopped for the day, so maybe start smaller than I did, mine is about the size of my hand which is smallish but still, start smaller, I didn't cry or curse more than twice but toward the end I could no longer control my twitching, flinching leg in response to the needles on my back... interestingly i wonder if accupuncture would help with pain and I am definitely pre medicating with tylenol next time.
after care is not a big deal just wash it gently and cover it with A&D ointment or aqua faure or a vaseline like stuff for a week and then regular unscented lotions for a month and sunscreen
i will go back to have it finished in a few weeks when our schedules match up, i do feel empowered... and a little giddy, heh
