Taking fashion pictures in open daylight , I think this is the absolute hardest thing to do properly. I just don't find that things like grass, blue skys, trees and water fit that well. It doesn't take long and the clothes are lost... I'm also thinking of 2 series done in Montreal by two well know photographers. One was with Cypress as a backdrop and slightly burnt grass and the other at Saint Anne de Bellevue next to the water and that "train bridge".
I guess the girl in the white below stands out but the previous threee don't..
Yes, I agree with you. However, even if the first three don't stand out, they are soft and convey a nice mood, which I like. I would be curious to see how they look printed in a magazine. Remember that web images need much more punch than magazine prints.
