There are no subtitles on the DVDs, so whatever exists out there can only be fan-made and I have no idea how to find that. Sorry!

I guess I misunderstood the question - they apparently meant subtitles over the English, then? I'm confused.

(On a side note, I got a box set of Brittas for Christmas. BEST SISTER EVER.)

Some people have hearing/processing issues or are ESL speakers who can understand English pretty well but prefer to watch with English subtitles. (I don't fall into either category but I know people who do.)

...this does remind me that I've been meaning to rewatch Brittas for a while, having finally adjusted to That Accent *g*

Maybe it's possible she meant closed captioning? Even a lot of cheap TVs these days have that option for the hearing-impaired. The DVD just needs to be compatible with it, I suppose?

The series 7 DVD has subtitles on it. subtitleseeker[dot]com seems to have those and subs for another couple of episodes, but I don't think the rest have subs available. Sorry.
