Forgot two days?! Oh well. Suspend your disbelief, would you kindly?

Back at uni, which means a bedroom I can stretch out in and a shower that stays at the temperature you tell it to! YES YES YES OMG I MISSED YOU, UNI SHOWER. ♥

Also: listening to cheesy crackly '40s music. no I am not trying to broaden my idea of what would've been popular in ( Read more... )

Oh, you. I absolutely have to know what you've been listening to. So I can recommend something. Or throw music at you.

(Aaaand now I'm thinking of LGBT as a Captain Planet sort of thing, where everyone has magic rings and summons a superhero when they work together. A superhero who kicks the stupid out of people.)

Run, rabbit! Run, rabbit! Run run run!
Don't give the farmer his fun, fun, fun!
He'll get by without his rabbit pie!
So run, rabbit! Run, rabbit! Run run run!

(Make of that what you will. ^_^)

ALSO THERE IS A SONG ABOUT CHICKENS and it is lolarious. And so catchy! :D

Question: d'you know if they typically used saxes or trumpets in these crazy upbeat swinging things? I'm... erring on the side of trumpets, but I'm not entirely sure.

...I'm liking Noel Coward. :D

And I'm digging me some Bing Crosby as well.

And Billie Holiday!

Man, they all had awesome names back then, didn't they?

By Rapture are you referring to the Rapture of Bioshock?

EEEEEE.

You win. ^_^

...I also lose, because I haven't played it yet. :P But it sounds like the most amazing awesome game of awesomeness. :P

EEE IS RIGHT. :D :D :D Though I'm not sure that I win very much more than you. I played the second level at a friend's house, and spent most of it standing frozen in terror and freaking out when the inevitable splicers came to cut me. I didn't even fight a Big Daddy. *snork*

BUT IT IS SO AMAZING AND OMG. I've cheated and read the backstory and stuff, and listened to the audio diaries and stuff. And it is the brilliantest thing ever to brilliant. (It's even given me two slightly-more-than-fledgeling roleplay headvoices, which is good going for a single work of fiction.)
