The name "Aelesthi" means "silk", because she's a gang member and Silk's a thief and a conman (read The Belgariad) and the connection vaguely amused me. Though I doubt that the original Silk would transform himself into a superhuman actually-quite-Divisible protector, not even of money. Which Aelesthi has done. Yes.
