I would google it, but I'm too frightened to, and can guess the general gist of it. Recipes (usually from the 1950s) that involve raw meat horrify me.
Not as fatal, but apparently still an amusing obscure culinary way to make yourself majorly ill: eating insufficiently cooked bear meat. Trichinosis has almost entirely been eradicated from domestic pork, but is endemic in bears. The things you learn online.
