Love is continuing to be perfectly willing to play a game with someone who totally outclasses you no matter how many times you play, and is still willing to finish a game even after said someone repeatedly says it's okay to put it away.

When I was a kid, my whole family would play board games including Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit. My dad won every single time, ever. So it was rather nice to start playing with friends so I had a chance to win. It turns out I actually win a fair bit when my dad isn't around.
