Your academic enthusiasm is something I'm quite frankly jealous of. And if you weren't already smart and dedicated, your ability to deal with problems that aren't necessarily of your own making is inspirational. :)

Even when we met when we started college, we seemed to get along pretty well. When things were not doing so well with my current gf and I wondered if maybe I really was with the wrong person (and the following is something I would never have admitted to until now) I would occasionally let the notion of what things would be like with you flit briefly through my mind, seeing how well we got along in general.

So I love how our relationship is better than I ever imagined.

I love that you're a schoolteacher. I've never felt I would be capable of teaching below college level, and after TAing a course in college as an undergrad, I don't think I could even do that. So, in my mind, you deserve a freakin' medal. :)
