FF wha?

After spending a little time on the Final Fantasy wiki, I realized another reason why I don't like VII as much as most of the others. People couldn't follow VIII or XII, but VII just makes no darn sense to me whatsoever even after reading the plot synopsis. Yes! agree very much with this.

Our conversation made me nostalgic, I think I'll be trying to play FF VIII...right now I actually have this free game called Final Fantasy Elements which is really, really old school. It's a mobile app, so I have no idea if you can play it. :(

I tried to play one of the most recent ones on my PS3 and it made me sea sick after a little time playing, which is bad when you have to level up like crazy. I'm a little sad over it, I don't know why the newer games make me sick.

Is that just a remake of I? I haven't tried looking for it yet.

I didn't even try any of the PS3 games when reviews talked about how much control is being taken away from the player. I realize a lot of FF games are about cutscenes and plot exposition occasionally broken up with battles and chocobo-based minigames, but I got scared off it. I am content to call VI, IX, XII, and V the best of the mainstream series (in that order) and move on to other things unless there's a compelling reason to do otherwise. :)

Are there other games that also give you seasickness? There might be a way to track the root cause down.

It might be? I would skip it...I played it until it became Final Fantasy Dimensions, which will cost me 30 bucks (!!!) if I were to continue playing. I will hook up my PS2 again and play the games I already have, for that price ( ... )
