I sympathize with that first one so very very much. I think we're actually the same height, but I say 4'11''3/4, just to be precise. I've wanted a cat since I could read. I never got one, If you own a cat before I do, can I come over to your house to pet it? XD
By the way, have you ever read Joan Aiken's Wolves of Willoughby Chase sequence .If you haven't, I think you really should. I was thinking nostalgically of them just the other day and wish I actually knew someone who had read them, too. Well-written spunky girls in historical adventures are very rare, after all, though Joan Aiken did them wonderfully. I spent a lot of time trying to hunt down all her works in various bookstores, which I never succeeded before age moved me on, so to speak.

Of course you can come over and pet my cat (if I ever have one)! You can even take care of it if you want when I go out of town!
Sadly, I have not read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase. I have no idea why because they are staples in children's literature and I've heard they are very good. I shall have to check them out from the library.
