Though not a Devo cover band, Andy, Pete (both whom you don't know), Tim, and I recorded three tracks yesterday. We had a friend of a friend come in with a sixteen-track recorder, and we each recorded our seperate parts to three songs. We all made a few mistakes here and there so it's nothing but an extremely rough demo at that. It should be cleaned up hopefully in a few weeks once we lay down the vocals and perhaps another guitar track. If nothing else, it was a valuable experience to go through a more engaging recording session. We found out a lot about the way we connect with each other by the process of recording individually.
Nothing but fun for now. Some of the guys want to play some local gigs. Not sure how I feel about it. From an experience basis, it would be fine. I don't truly get into the style they are playing but heh. We'll see.
