This stupid dog is getting fat. I let it run around, I don't feed it that much. Is there, like, some secret thing I'm supposed to be doing here ( Read more... )

I let it run around on the deck whenever it wants. Isn't that as good as walking it?

Come now, Elle. It should be easy to keep your dog trim. I mean, I care for a dog by myself, and even I've managed to keep it from getting fat. Maybe he's been comfort eating because his real owner is gone?

Speaking of that, how have you been since your boyfriend left you?

He's been eating dog food, because that's what I give him.

And I'm fine. Peter went on vacation - he'll be back.

Well, it must be the dog's fault, right? If he eats healthy and gets exercise and he's still fat, he must just be too lazy to try harder.

I'm assuming that's how you'd see it, anyway.
