So, I've had this window open on my computer for a while now, going away to work on something, coming back to read this, because I'm not really sure what to say. With that said, I wanted to say something, but it will probably be a bit long and rambly.

I like how this fic just built and built upon itself. First Dean's dream, then Sam's kiss, the sex, and then Dean shooting Sam. I will admit that I usually don't have enough patience to sit through long fics because it never feels like they're going anywhere. But, I really liked how this one just moved. There was a lot of intensity through both Sam's visions and Dean's feelings. I liked, also, the tension between Dean and Sam that occurred in the beginning when Sam wouldn't tell Dean about the visions and also in the end because Sam told Dean about the vision ( ... )

I'm about the world's biggest review spaz, so it's all cool with me, and I appreciate you taking the time to comment. :D

You have no idea how happy this comment made me. I was kind of worried about how well the story held together, and to hear that the building-up worked and that you liked the way things tied in was awesome. Thanks again for commenting! ♥

This is a great story. (Love the title, too) Hard to really do it justice in a review because it leaves you with a whole-is-greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts sort of gut reaction. When you read something and it feels more like you are seeing and hearing and feeling it unroll in your head, you know you're on to something. The present tense, the crisp dialog, the physicality (and I don't just mean sex) and the mystery all ratcheted up the tension and made this a juggernaut of a story. And the characterizations were damn near perfect. What is the reading online equivalent of can't put the book down?

Man, I am grinning like a fool right now. Awesome to hear that it came together for you like that, and yay for the present tense working! Titles aren't usually my strong suit so it's especially cool to hear that you liked it. Thanks so much!

And uh, not being able to stop scrolling? :D

Holy shit. This was so wonderfully well-written! I was hanging on to every word, and I literally screamed when Dean shot him. Really superb writing. :)

Wonderful, just wonderful. This is some amazing writing, tight and creepy and keeps you guessing and then ties it up pretty neatly in the end (while also leaving room for a sequel :hinthint:). I too was scared it was going to be a death fic, and my heart just about stopped when Dean fired the gun, but you worked quickly to reasure us that while all might not be *well* Sam was alive and Dean felt better.
Bravo!!

Thanks! Cool to hear it kept you guessing! And yeah, I don't think everything's completely tied up for the boys in this 'verse, but on the sequel front, we'll see. I've got a couple of ideas, but the fic would be superdark, is all I'm saying. And right now I'm about 2,000 words or so away from being done with a fic in which Sam and Dean are still in prison and Dean is Sam's bitch, so I think I'm going to go concentrate on that at the moment. :D

Glad you liked the fic, though!
