Hey yourself! I'm doing pretty well, overall! Work seems to be alternating between having nowhere near enough for me to do and having eighty thousand things I need to be doing at once, so achieving some sort of balance there would be sweet but unlikely. The jury's still out on how I feel about New York. There are things I totally enjoy about it, and I feel a good deal more confident about my ability to navigate the subway system than I did a month ago (although I am still horrible at it), but we'll see how long I end up staying here. How are you doing?

I keep trying to like Lyla, but I can't. She is so insanely obnoxious in a bad way that I just can't bring myself to like her in any capacity. Minka Kelly drives me insane as a person, too.

Although season 2 is a REAL DOWNGRADE from season 1, there's one new character that I actually like a lot. Almost makes up for the sucktasticness of it. ALTHOUGH, we do get a little hint of Julie/Tim which was surprisingly AWESOME. I don't know why - Julie tends to annoy me a bit, but I think in her case she's just acting her age, rather than Lyla just being a total flake. Plus, TIM WITH A BABY, KELLY. TIM WITH A BABY!

Tyra almost getting raped, what the HELL, are they TRYING to kill everything that rocks about her as a character?

Wait until season 2. I was fucking pissed. UGH AND LANDRY. WHY LANDRY? I would have preferred that she had just NOT been paired with anyone. I felt like she was paired with Landry to show how she ~developed~ as a person and didn't mind sleeping with the "ugly" guy instead of hot guys like Tim. I think nutkin

I do highly approve of the idea of Tim with a baby. He just wants to be a daaaaddy like the one he never had!

Tyra would have been so much incredibly better not paired with anybody. She doesn't HAVE to be with anyone on the show, producers. You could show her development as a person through the fact that she's thinking about things that are thoroughly unconnected with getting laid! So laaame.

OH SVU. I don't know that I'm ready to straight-up download every ep that exists. I don't think my love for SVU is ready for that sort of commitment.

FNL is my FAVORITE (well, besides supernatural... well it's just a different kind of favorite)

I also don't really care for lyla... at all... BUT I love Tami/Eric, they make me believe in marriage and love and all that stuff.

Granted, I did end up getting into an argument with my sister halfway through when she tried to argue that if a girl kissed another girl it didn't count as cheating. Her logic is not earth logic.

One of my friends recced it really highly, and I thought it was gloriously hot, but IDK. I know for a fact that I'm thinking too hard about everything right now. As long as I wasn't thinking about it, I was definitely enjoying myself.

Ugh, seriously? That's like when my brother tried to tell me that girls kissing girls wasn't gay, whereas guys kissing guys really was.
