I feel EXACTLY the same way about Entourage fic. I keep meaning to get my hands on the show and watch it, but I haven't done that yet. I've still probably read just about every Eric/Vince story on the internet. It's all the same buttons that non-AU J2 hit for me, many of the same buttons that bandom hits and yes, fictional! RPF light! All of the taste, none of the guilt!

Yes! Yes yes yes! I basically just want really awesome original fic set in L.A. with big shot actors being extremely gay for each other, and Entourage is doing that for me! HOORAY!

You have to read EVERYTHING by fourteencandles - her Here's Us Together Series is pure genius. AND [info]hackthis's The Incredibly True Adventures of Four Stars, Two Actors In Love, and One Gay Landmark which has the ultimate Ari Gold.

Uh, I can hear you all hitting that defriend button already, so let me just add: there is no way in this world I have the time or the energy to actively get into a new fandom at this point, so I'm sure that, like my short-lived The O.C. phase, this too shall fizzle out.

Hee hee hee. I understand what you mean! I feel like I've been dipping my feet into a zillion different fandoms lately, but SPN still owns my soul! Eee!

Yeah, I was super mono-fannish for a long time, and now I am kind of going, y'know? There are LOTS of good writers out there, and not all of them are writing SPN, so I'm following the good writing, to a certain extent.

My thoughts exactly! I've had a fabu time reading fic from a half-dozen different fandoms! :D! I never really consider myself part of a fandom just because I read fic, it's more just like ... enjoying it getting quite as invested (in the fandom, not the material, since I'm generally pretty all-or-nothing when it comes to the things I love :D) as I would in a primary fandom. :D

Ahaha, dude! I actually recognized your LJ name immediately, because I just read sneaky_sena's Big Bang this afternoon and saw you'd betaed it. How very random!

I've already read all of astolat's, sadly (but also happily, because it was good!). I am way too good at finding the good stuff, apparently. Dang it! I'll definitely check your delicious account out, though! And YAY Entourage excitement!
