Isn't that just the most fabulous story? I love this fandom SO MUCH. Also? War stories rock. The Civil War is my favorite era/war (er, if such a term can be used), but WWII is pretty damn awesome, too.

I took a World War II course in college, I was in heaven. It was one of the few courses that I didn't want to end.
