Kids in bars

Went down to the Fastnet tonight, as is my typical Sunday meanderance. The bar is never really crowded, I'm friends with one of the bartenders, and it has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Plus, there is the added benefit of a group of musicians playing traditional Irish music Sunday nights, which is always a good time

Back in November when I was doing Nanowrimo, we were meeting in a bar/restaurant called Blake's downtown in Providence. Good restaurant, but it's more bar than anything else. Was a Sunday night, around 9pm, and this couple comes in with their four very wired kids. I still have no idea why they brought their kids into a bar at 9pm on a Sunday. All I know is I left ten minutes later because they were making so much noise, climbing on the pool table and just generally being a huge nuisance.
