Thoughts upon a dead cat

I was driving home the other day from places of no true importance, when I noticed a dead cat laying upon the sidewalk. The cat sort of looked like one of mine, so I stopped to see if it was, in fact, my closest friend - two or four legged. Much to my relief, the cat in question was not the most esteemable MuCat

Seeing a dead cat on or near the road always upsets me. Mom always apologizes to the poor thing

The sick sad thing is some people have no feeling for animals at all. They feel that because they can't talk (or at least, verbalize) that they're dumb things that don't feel pain or affection or anything else. :/ Don't know how anyone could think that.
