It has been brought to my attention that custom-made mood themes work with Free accounts as well as Paid!!

When my paid acct ran out,I had a free acct for awhile and I noticed my mood theme stayed in place. There is an explanation on lj (FAQ?) that explains your mood theme will stay in place if your pd acct expires. The only stipulation is that you may not edit or change it. It will remain just as you left it.

But that's a good discovery about changing it temporarily to a plus acct! Might try that next time : )

Yeah, my layout uses a feature that you only have access to with a paid account (or at least, I think so) and when my paid account ran out I expected the layout to go completely bonkers, but it was absolutely fine. Whew!

But it's nice to know that we can get custom mood themes that easily. Maybe once I start watching Supernatural (because I will! for sure!) and become super-addicted (because I will, again, for sure *snort*) I'll snag this mood theme because it is hawt!! :D:D

yeah I guess you can keep the layout as long as you don't try to change anything. Then it all goes kablooy.

and dude, you SO will watch the show and I hope to god that you'll love it (cause I guess there is a possibility that you wont like it cause not everyone enjoys the same thing, you know). But I hope!! *crosses fingers*

yeah, and kablooy = very bad *g* we don't want kablooy, no way.

and well, considering I've seen a few episodes and absolutely loved them, enough to ask for the first season for Christmas to watch the rest of them... I think it's fairly likely that I'll fall in love in about 2 seconds lmfao :D

You are very welcome for the information! I mess with my CSS and customize my layout all the time under a Plus account but then quickly change it back to a Basic or it will look all skewed with the Ads. *crosses fingers that LJ never gets a clue* I also change mood themes on my Comm all the time too but my new SN LJ Comm stays with Causette's animated one cuz it is love!

Oh no one can help but fall in love with Supernatural after they see it. I came in at the end of the 1st season and went nuts over it. Then quickly and timely snatched the 1st season on DVD shortly after when it was released. Instant Love!
