Tony felt proud of his work whenever he'd find Steve chatting online with any other Avenger, or whenever he'd get a glimpse of him adding things to his iPod.

Wow, that's really sweet. I can imagine Tony feeling more pride for teaching Steve some small modern things than he'd feel for genius invention or major business deal. Also, loved Tony's thought process behind taking Steve to a 3D movie ;-)
