(By the way, I'm searching a document on Limewire and I just got a shitload of files back in 'lit' format. What program is that? I searched for pdf, or doc formats, but they only had this elusive 'lit' one. What program can open that?)
apparently it's a Microsoft Reader format [mainly for books on palmtops etc] and the Microsoft Reader software is free so I guess you'll need that to open it - don't really know more than that, never used those :( sorry :D
I love the last two lines. Harper's a riot. He's so funny.
Dude, if you like the whole Bush/Hornblower element, you'll like the Sharpe/Harper (his right hand man) element too. It's not as great as Hornblower--remember, Sharpe's author was a fan of HH, so it was more of an inspiration than "I want to beat Forester!"--but it's more satisying because Sharpe actually treats Harper like a human being as opposed to Hornblower treating Bush like a "dog waiting for its master." (Yes, that is a quote. Sad, really.)
You'll love Flying Colours, when you get to it. I guarantee it. It's where all the Bush/HH fans went, "SEE HORATIO! WE KNEW YOU CARED!"
I'm reading more of SHarpe and found this quote and thought to share:
McCallum twisted to look at Sharpe. "Have you ever seen tits like grapes, Mr Sharpe?"
"I've never met your mother, Corporal," Sharpe said.
