Possible cure for cervical cancer should not be given to young people because this discourages abstinence. Appropriate response: WTF?

As much as I feel that people who do the crime should do the time(you know that ol' saying), I don't think this is justifying anything. at. all. How does this teach children? I couldn't agree more.

I don't see how it sends the wrong message in any case... it's just another vaccine on a list of them we're required to get for school. If preteens are supposed to get it, they're probably not going to have any more idea of what "cervical cancer" is than say any other diseases they get vaccinated for.
