I, erm. Have problems. Why do they always drag John Dee and Edward Kelly into these things, reeeeeally? I can't decide if I have a vendetta against this book or if the book has it in for me. Possibly both.
This will end in random acts of violence and paper cuts.
I've been curious since I first saw it, and decided to finally buy it just to read it.
I don't know, could be the same reason why all Wolverine books run basically the same way, though as odd as this sounds...I could have done without the whole 'omg they went on like rabbits!! because she had red hair/green eyes!!' part in the latest one I'm reading. >.>;; *cough cough*
I think part of my issue is that (so far) it runs so damn close to my original draft of Waterstone that's floating about that I'm afraid someone is going to point at me and suggest I copied it.
No original ideas and all that lah-de-dah; but my original draft includes an ancient manuscript (re: Voynich) that is stolen from a museum that speeds the entire story. And in my draft it's even related to Roger Bacon. *facepaaaaalms*
Good thing my rewrite concentrates more on the existance of the Stone versus a manuscript.
