In all honesty, it causes me teeth-gnashing rage. But now I'm INVESTED, and it's only a 12-or-13 episode series so I'll see it through. But it makes the Shinsengumi all sorts of fluffy and cuddly and shit and that does not sit well with me. Hijikata makes me particularly headdesk.
In conclusion; it's a particular harmless romantic harem series that just happens to take a whole lot of liberties with the Shinsengumi.
Oh I am lagging so hard in my watching, just barely keeping up with the current shows on my plate. I usually average between 80-100 episodes a month; but I watch anime while either playing a MMO or working on crafts, and I haven't been doing much of either the last few months.

I used to be so ridic. about keeping up with all the new stuffs, and now Im lagging ugh
well I did have fun marathoning many episodes of FMA with my parents yesterday lol
I was so surprised they actually watched 17 episodes in a row with me. They don't even like anime
