So I finished the book of utter DOOM today. The ending was somewhat lackluster, although it definitely fell into the grand tradition of 'object of quest melts the bad guy.' Very kinda 'meh' on it. Probably because it irritated the holy crap out of me while reading it. xD ( Read more... )

Which guy wrote that particular Indy book? Was it Martin Caidin?

Nope, that one was written by Max McCoy. I haven't read any of the other ones... they any good?

Ah Max McCoy is okay... but not the best. Better than Martin Caidin.

The ones i've read by Rob Mac Greggor are pretty good. He's the one that started them. I actually consider his vision of how Indy came to be more canon than The Young Indiana Jones stuff. I reccomment starting at the first one, "The Peril at Delphi" and going from there. I've been reading them a bit out of order, but going in order works best i think. :D
