Those are some pretty reasonable prices, particularly given the MA housing market. Do they float as the market floats or are they fixed at one point?

Anyway I hope the lottery gives you some great new neighbors!

The initial prices will be nailed down in the next month or so - after that resale prices float with median income.

(it's an insanely complicated formula that boils down to people who make that level of money being able to afford the houses.)

this is great - I'll be sure to pass it around to interested friends and housemates.

I too had a pang of wishing we did not own our current house - though I think we missed the income cutoff last year by like, $1500.

Have you done your taxes yet? I ask because with child credits and other before-reportable-income-deductions (i.e. FSA stuff) can really make a difference in your reportable income. Mine was a difference of almost $8000 last year.

right. anyway, yes we have done our taxes, and our after-tax income was just under $68K.
