A remake too far

I consider this a sign of the coming Apocalypse.

The only impressive thing about the show was the stunts that were all done by Michael Crawford himself. The character, & the situations were all designed to make you squirm, & I know I did, too.

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em Wasn't that the show about a bumbling incompetent who mangled the English language and everything he touched fell apart? But they've already done a US remake of that! Wasn't the Michael Crawford part taken by an actor called George W. Bush? I think his show's running on Fox News every night. And, yes, it sucks even worse. Way worse.

Well, joking aside, I really do think that a US remake would be attacked as a 'liberal' satire by right wingers who didn't know the original. That and the US Catholics who would feel they were being slighted by a show about some Mothers who Do Ave M(aria).
