It tickles me to imagine the manager of our Wal-mart gleefully violating store policy by stocking schlocky films of questionable taste and then waylaying the corporate inspectors in a series of misdirections worthy of an Abbott and Costello movie. Yeah, in my head, that's what's happening.

Have you watched it yet? I was talking to a neighbor of mine after I watched Chillerama with them and he was telling me that Walmart only edits music. Actually, they don't do it, just require any CDs that are sold be to their liking. Something doesn't seem right there though. Why put restrictions on music, but not movies? True there isn't a ratings system for music, but still.

Heather - yes that one

Oh, how weird, I mean, the policy.
I mean, I prefer getting a CD unedited, but if a store has a certain policy that's restrictive in one media, you'd think they would be consistent with regards to other media.
I'm not complaining, though, if I can get these DVDs for a little cheaper, but it's just a little funny and perplexing.

Meanwhile, getting back to CHILLERAMA.
I actually started watchiing it, and then, had to stop, and then never got back to it.
I saw the WADZILLA and was starting to watch I WAS A TEENAGE WEREBEAR when T stopped partway through it.
I'll have to get back to it.
So far, I've been enjoying it and also having mixed feelings about it. Especially the WEREBEAR segment, so I'll definitely have to watch the rest.
But, in the abstract, I like the whole bizarre "genre mutation" vibe of the whole anthology.
