hp_darkfest has just opened for sign up today! I've signed up, of course, because honestly, how could I not? It's such a great opportunity to write disturbing content and make readers happy at the same time. :-D
I was so shocked by the ankle grabbing that my brain melted down. I'm easy to scare with such effects in movies - it wasn't as if I wasn't expecting it, but I still flinched. No way I could have thought anything. But when tomatoe18 mentioned it, the idea immediately spawned a scene. :-)
Oooh, yumm, darkness. Very nicely written! Inferi are so unfortunately rare in fanfic!
Both times I saw the movie, the entire theater jumped at the ankle-grabbing scene. :)
I'm tempted to sign up for darkfest, but I always end up procrastinating with these things. Plus I've already got an HP story I've been working diligently on, I should probably stick to that.
Thank you! I've written another Harry/Inferius drabble, which is actually Harry/Cedric, but that's in German. :-)
I jumped so hard the first time I saw the ankle-grabbing. The second time I was too busy warning my godson and tried hard not to jump, because I didn't want to scare him. He liked the Inferi scene best in the whole movie. His nerves are a lot tougher than mine - lol.

You are writing HP??? That's awesome!!! I'm so much looking forward to the day you are going to post it. *happy dance*
Darkfest is really low pressure - they don't even require a minimum word count. Why not sign up and see where the prompt will take you? On the other hand, if you know that it will only add to your guilty feelings of procrastinating, it might also be wise not to hop on the bandwagon.
No matter how many times I read this, I'm in still in awe and in love with your words, your writing... they're all so brilliant!
I hope this was good practice for you for darkfest! I can't wait to see what you'll write this year. I maintain that I won't be following the whole fest (sorry!!!) but I will definitely read whatever you write, just like last year. :)
You know that you're too cute for words? I feel so honoured that you are going to read my dark fic, and I hope not to disappoint. *beams* I've got two wonderful prompts for darkfest to choose from. *chases plot bunnies*
The immediate writing project will be all about hd_career_fair. How is your fic coming along?
Well, you know how 'weak' I am when it comes to reading stuff that are too dark and angst-y. I figured, since I survived your Darkfest fic last year, I can stand to read another one from you this year. :)
Urgh, I'm so uninspired for my hd_career_fair fic. :( I got my first choice of prompt, which is good, but for some reason, the words aren't coming to me. *sobs* I think I need to read other H/D fics to jump start my creativity.

But the story is well done and worthy of a darkfest :)

I swear that I never thought of Inferius!Regulus before tomatoe18 mentioned him, but then the idea immediately showed its appeal. *g*
