I love this! Such a great concept for Donna's "reawakening" through the TL universe. Very original! Looking forward to more.

You know, I'm amazed nobody's thought of it before. Glad you liked it.

Except he wasn’t doing it because of that. He was doing it because she was Donna Noble - and she’d saved him.

This line gave me a big old lump in my throat. I'm enjoying this more and more with every chapter and once it's done it's joining the few wonderful 'print out and keep forever' fics in my collection :)

Oh, thank you - that is so encouraging! And that's probably my favourite line in the whole chapter, too.

This is fascinating, and your characterisations are totally spot on; his conversation with Sylvia, and the back and forth with Donna at the end, total genius. I'm looking forward to the next installment. :)

Thank you, thank you. I absolutely loved writing this chapter, particularly the end - I just seem to hear these two in my head the way a lot of people hear Ten/Rose banter.

Oh...wow. I love the conversation between the Doctor and Donna. It's the perfect mix between unconscious recognition and confusion and sadness and... Oh. I'm really looking forward to more.

And the trigger with the mirrors in the department store is very creative! I hadn't really thought, until I started reading this, of all the triggers in ordinary places (and not just talk of the invasion). Lovely work!

What gave me the idea for the mirror scene, I think, was something RTD once said in the Radio Times. He was asked to name a defining moment for each companion and for Donna he chose her decision to enter the Circle of Mirrors, "so full of hope and fear and bravery." To me that seemed such a powerful experience for her to have that nobody could ever quite take it away.

That was perfect. I love how you're "reviving" the Donna Noble we know and love. As always, I adore how you explore the Doctor's psyche. And this line was perfection:

Except he wasn’t doing it because of that. He was doing it because she was Donna Noble - and she’d saved him.

Yes. Just yes. I can't wait for the next installment!

Couple of people have picked up on that and it's probably my favourite line, too. Says it all, really.
