LOL, let's hope that's true! But last night's episode was fun, albeit very scary. Can't wait to get our happy-go-lucky Jack back, though. As dark as DW has been this season, I still don't think it compares to how dark TW was every week. I wonder if/how Jack meeting back up with the Doctor will change the tone of TW.

I read an interview with JB recently in which he said Jack does lighten up somewhat in the next TW series. Having said that, I think they'll have huge problems integrating the two shows into a convincing narrative - problems they may simply not attempt to solve. Can you imagine the Doctor being unaware of the events of End of Days, for example? It's inconceivable, at least to me.

I thought "Blink" worked very much better as a Doctor-lite episode than L&M did last year. L&M started well, but that ridiculous monster ruined it for me. Fun/scary is tricky to bring off, but if anyone can do it, it's Moffatt. I still adore "resonating concrete" and the banana grove exchange from TDD!
