I feel that for Dean and Cas to work as a romantic pairing, there has to be that level of trust and caring before it gets romantic at all. Similarly with most relationships, but these characters are so damaged so it takes more.

Aaahhhh, poor Cas! Intense chapter, I loved it! Love the interaction between Cas and Dean, it's just brilliant. :)
