of those that have given their lives for us in WW1, WW2 and every war that our brave men and women of the armed forces have fought in and are still fighting since then.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them...

They deserve our respect and praise.

That doesn't mean I agree with the way the politicians use them.

I'm the same. I hate the politicians but the soldiers themselves have only my respect, praise and support.

Yes. The lower the rank, the more my respect. The 'ordinary' grunt is doing an extraordinary job for us all.
