on a lighter note, both my mobile and discman have been successfully resurrected, yay!
plus i *finally* got my ears syringed. very strange feeling. very icky. VERY degrading. eep. but at least i can hear now :D

how do you know if you need it? I'm sure my hearing ain't great.

well i had been cleaning my ear with a cotton wool bud a few weeks ago then suddenly i must have poked sumthin (wax, further in, eep) cos my hearing went funny, i couldnt hear properly, it was like all the sound in my right ear was really dull as if from through a wall or something. and it was constantly ringing :/
but you should go see the doctor, they can check really quickly and tell you if your ears are blocked or not. then you get ear drops which you take for a week or so to soften the wax then you go & get them syringed by a nurse.
