Don't think I've updated this thing in over a month. I've got something of a Catch-22 when it comes to LJ. When I've got all kinds of stuff going on that inspires me to write, I'm usually too busy to stop and write. having worked in the dental field for several years, i can tell you that you absolutely do NOT want dentures unless they are your only and last option.

seriously..trust me.

most people think..oh easy, just pop em in and out and make sure they're clean and no big deal and no more visits to the dentist. only that's not what it ends up being. gums shrink, mouths shift and change, they need to be refitted, lined...blah blah blah. imagine how it feels to have huge hunks of plastic in your mouth also, especially when your mouth can detect something as small as a grain of sand and be sensitive to it.

anyway. not sure what all has happened or is going on, but i'm sorry. dental work is no fun...i hope all goes well for you.

Yeah, I know dentures are truly the last option. I was just being sarcastic which is something I normally do when things start to suck.

At the very least, I've got a good dentist now so I have faith that things will turn out ok in the long run. This whole thing will be another one of those 'character building' experiences. I've been through enough of those and have always come out better because of it.

Thanks. And I'm going to try not to be gone for so long. Hey, I've got a whole winter of freezing weather and dental work to look forward to so it's not like I got anything better to do. (-;

Seriously though, the best thing is getting caught up again on what you and everyone else have been up to. Glad you had a good time celebrating your mom's B-day.
