I have owned CB-1s for... 16 years. Tonight is the first time *ever* that I've gotten one to start immediately, after a few months of downtime. (The two in street trim are identically hard to start after winter or long absences. The third is in too many large pieces for me to be able to tell.) Yay happiness! Yay for bikes! Trickle chargers really do work. :-)

Similarly, my CB700 woke up fairly promptly after a day on the trickle charger. Threw some Seafoam into the tank to start cleaning things out, and haven't had an issue yet. (Though there was the trip to Galen's to get new tyres, and bleed the brakes, but I file that under "maintenance".)
