This would be Cult and Crit? I'm sure everyone has already told you this, but it's not worth worrying about. As you say, all you need to do is scrape 40%, and, while C&C isn't the easiest module to do this in, there's not the same reliance on hard facts that there is elsewhere. If you've got a half-decent grasp of the way of thinking associated with each mode of criticism, and have memorised a couple of names to chuck in, you'll be fine.
The only thing that I remember with horror about that exam is how absolutely trashed I got afterwards. It was very embarrassing. I blame the fact that they scheduled it for a Saturday afternoon, so I missed the Chapel walk to Crediton.

It is indeed Cult & Crit. I've looked over feminism, queer theory/performativity and race theory, and can remember a few names and roughly what they were on about. This whole year for C&C has been a huge huge struggle, and it's only partly been because of the nature of the material; the Meares-Irlen has been a major factor in it.
I honestly have no plans to go out and get trashed after the exam! I've got a Clarinet Choir committee meeting at lunchtime and then I think I'll go back to my sewing. I *will* get this dress finished in time for TolkSoc summer party. I *will*!!!
