Well, I have no idea what I'm going to write.  In fact, I'm not even sure I want to write, but I'm being pressured by the powers that are.

I've been thinking (desperately sometimes) about what I want to be when I grow up.  About the lifestyle I want, the debts I have, and my self-respect.  I've been asking for guidance as well, from my Ahku and

I've always wondered, sometimes, if a god deliberately made himself not known in the RPD, but wanted the follower to figure it out for themselves. I mean outside divination (and most importantly, from multiple sources) is generally a good thing, but I get kind of terrified by the amount of reliance and devotion people put into it. Not to mention someone determining MY spiritual pedigree also feels... wrong. Which is why I suppose I didn't press the issue to my parents on wanting to join. I still intend on taking the classes, but I don't think KO is home for me.

Plus I wonder how its handled when another god from another pantheon busts in and says "no, this one is MINE". Considering they have well over 400 members, shouldn't something like this have happened before?

.. Er. Don't take this as an attack on your faith or anything. Please! >_< This is just some random musing, and you're probably the only person my list I can babble this out too.

Yeah, I had to back out of RPD weekend for financial and fam. obligations.

I'll be doing it online as soon as Hemet sets and appointment.

Bummer about the lack of connection. Don't abandon us completely though!

Sorry about copping out on Twitter. It wasn't worth the annoyances for me. I've been facebook, mostly.

Although, I have made a committment to write every day for a week, just to see how it goes.

So, surgery soon. I read your anxiety post. It's understandable to have second thoughts. What do you mind-mates think?
