I have a few like that too. My dad died a month ago today. (I never did post anything but some members of the community knew he wasn't doing well.) My former Catholic cousin, one of his favorite nieces, didn't attend the funeral. She'd sent her pastor over a couple of months ago to "pray for him" and believes that Catholics are not saved and are not going to go to heaven. It hurt me. Her daughter who knows nothing about Catholicism, also didn't attend. They both showed up at the burial like it wasn't a big deal.
I've promised my priest I'd let it go, but it's still raw and hurts. So, I know where you're coming from. Sucks, huh?
