You guys give excellent, excellent prompts. As soon as I read them, ideas came flooding into my brain. So hooray for you! You make my muses happy, and that's like, the best thing you could ever do for me.

Mmmm. Don't know the last show, but they're all very, very good. I really like the second one -- I can so see that happening, and it's very cute. Which is always the most fun.

I love both of them (and you're, what, surprised by this?)

“You could jus’ ignore the Cap’n! You don’t even need t’see him really, ‘cept for when you pay your rent an’ maybe you can jus’ give it to me an’ I can give it to him for you!”

Oh - man, when Kaylee said that, I just wanted to walk right in there with them and give her a giant hug. Such a Kaylee thing to say, and to cut right to the heart of the problem with all her innocence and naivity. Great bit of characterization there.

As for the second one - drinking tea together! That's such a Mal/Inara thing to do. Sneak off in the middle of the night to spend non-fighting time together and it's okay if no one knows! Love it.

He flicks his tea cup, scuffs his heels against the floor, keeps his eyes focused on the wood of the table. “For not sayin’ goodbye.”

*squee*

Love that. Love it. And I love the description of him, all hesitant and scuffling heals. Awwwww, Mal love!

Well these were just a pleasure to read. I came for the Firefly fics and quite enjoyed the SVU one as well :)

Thank you so much! And I'm glad you liked the SVU one as well. I've noticed that not many Firefly fans are also SVU fans; so it's nice to see someone who was able to appreciate both! *grins*
