Shiny New Idea: Hi Catherine! I’m Shiny New Idea. Aren’t I awesome?!

Catherine: Oh man you are awesome, Shiny New Idea. You make me want to work on you right now.

Shiny New Idea: I know I am awesome but you have enough projects for now. Plus you need to let me simmer for a while.

Meanwhile politicians continue to wonder why New Zealand might have a piracy problem.

Can't imagine why... I mean, it's only to be expected that when you try to buy something and it's just not available where you live, you're going to resort to different means to get what you want. SOLUTION: MAKE THINGS AVAILABLE EVERYWHEEEEERE. \o/ I'm more than willing to pay, but how am I supposed to do that when the people selling won't let me?

It's just so bleeding obvious, you know? We don't get a lot of shows, movies, music and books here, and if we do get them many are months, if not years, late. People are willing to pay for things but it's often just not possible (as you can see).

Agreed! All we have in our blasted (Malaysian) iTunes store are a handful of game applications and apps and nothing more. No music and nothing. What, do they expect us to buy a house in the States/UK, have the bill mailed there, have said bill mailed from house in US/UK to wherever the music isn't?? This is making me angry. In a world where we can do anything with computers, is it really THAT difficult???

I had that exact same problem earlier this week with Florence + the Machine. I want to get all of the singles I'm missing but they're only available via the UK iTunes Store, and I'm just a lowly Canadian.
