life is crazy.

I hate my job. No, that's not true. I like what I'm doing, I like the experience I'm getting. I don't like the lack of organization, or the fact that I'm apparently the only person there with anything useful to do, which means that all the f'ing projects are in my lap, while everyone else sits around and bullshits. Not cool ( Read more... )

yeah, I'm kinda scared about not being able to find a job up there, but I'm gonna try my hardest - I definitely don't wanna do the long distance (now even longer) thing for much longer, especially if the relationship's going to ever move forward. Distance just keeps things stagnant...

The real world has its perks. I actually have money now. Sure I never see my friends except on the weekends, and dating is even harder when you have no time to meet people, but personally find it better then the alternative.

Try to check Bostonworks on a regular basis, there are lots of openings this time of year. I can let you know also I see any openings, or if I know anyone hiring. Any city in particular you are looking for? (either of you)

Its funny to see you two wanting to come back to MA. After 23 years here I'm itching to get out. If you hear any jobs opening in the warm south let me know! :)

Eh, I've always liked MA. Long Island makes it look like a cheap place to live! :P Truthfully, I'm not too keen on the large amounts of snow and cold, but since all my closest friends are staying up there, I'd be miserable without them.

I'm basically looking for anywhere within the 495 loop, both to live and to work. Jeff's going to be living in Chelmsford and working in Billerica, so the closer to there, the better. :) And Mark's just clueless - he wants to stay up there for the same reasons I do (well, minus the boyfriend part... as far as I know, anyway), but he has no idea what kind of CS job he wants - I know I'm looking for web applications stuff 'cause it's the only thing I'm good at/that I like. I posted an ad on Craigslist and I've been watching Monster - I've never been on Bostonworks, so I think it's time to give it a try! :)
