last night, after stoppping in to the Classics Grad student happy hour at Murphy's, i made the necesery appearance at my friend's rock show. he wasn't a half-bad guitarist, and the rhythm section was pretty tight too. the vocalist seemed like dead weight though

Yeah, The Warriors is everywhere right now. I liked the movie (didn't love it), but I am actually looking forward to playing the video game a lot.

The remake is set in London and is to be directed by Tony Scott. I don't like the sound of that.

i had heard it was to be set in LA; but frankly, i doubt the likelihood that any cult classic-ramake will be anywhere near as interesting as the original.

My friend Jose read the book a few months ago...said that while the movie was funnybad, the book was just arse.

And I can't wait until I can get a Baseball Fury action figure. :D

Your observation about how all the Warriors have full, pouty lips? Hilarious. And Matt and I discussed that most of the drive back. He said he'd never even noticed it before.

I made my friend chuckdawg watch it a few months ago. He loved it, but had the following comments:

"Whoa, whoa, whoa...is that a BLACK guy in the SKINHEAD gang?"

and later, when he saw that they drove a bus...

"Dude, they're not even making him sit in the BACK?!"
