hey you :) Things are fine, I'm living it up married-woman style! ;) how are things on your end?

Congratulations on the getting married thing! I am glad to hear things are going well. Laura and I celebrated our one year anniversary last month with a trip up to New England (Boston and Bar Harbor). Laura finished her first year as a mathematics teacher and in just under a decade I am a mere two semesters away from finally getting a degree in microbiology. I ended up starting a company earlier this year that is working on environmental rehabilitation and sustainable raw materials production. Currently it is just me, but I am in the process of seeking investment. Who knows how it will go, but I figure it is worth a shot anyhow. We have been working on our garden this year, with success on the tomato and zucchini front. The strawberries and beets never made it (squirrels and raccoons), while the radishes are apparently ok. Other than that, it is business as usual. Getting by and having a good time doing it. Still in Germany?
