I love Star Trek. It's not always realistic, but they have beautiful ideas to live up to.

yeah its tough, its the most commercialized holiday ever, and i still get sad because of remembering my uncle. can't help it though.

i've never watched star trek though i may watch the movie because i am a big JJ abrams fan and ♥ john cho ♥ is in it. ;) i just love that quote..... it kind of reminds me of a part in the jane austen book club where hugh dancy was asking maria bello's character to read this scifi book, and she didn't saying "its not my genre", and hugh dancy is like "i read jane austen"..... lol... and when she eventually did, she loved it. it's amazing how much depth one can get in scifi books/quotes, when its been stereotyped.... :)
